Australia's favourite screening plant, in a selection bred for hedging. Dense, upright and quick to close, with fluffy white flowers, bird-attracting berries and new growth that flushes bronze-red several times a season.
Why you'll love it
- Privacy all year — evergreen and dense from the ground up.
- Colour through the season — bronze to copper-red new growth.
- Hold it where you want it — takes tip pruning happily, from 2 m up.
- Flowers and berries — white in spring and summer, then fruit the birds love.
- Australian native — and a genuine habitat plant.
Best for
- Boundary screening
- Hedges at 2–4 m
- Bird-friendly gardens
- An informal green backdrop
